Great music is all about collaboration – the composer with the lyricist, the bandleader with the band, the drummer with the guitarist.
The Music & Youth Initiative has embraced this philosophy since our founding in 2004. Our core organization is small but the collective results have been significant.
We lead a broad collaborative that leverages resources: funding, talented people, and physical space. Our network currently boasts a number of vibrant, active Music Clubhouses in the Greater Boston area. Each Clubhouse is run by a full time director and staff who work for our Youth Development partners in their facilities.
