David Bickel Joins Music & Youth as Program Manager
Boston, MA, August 2010
We are very pleased to announce that David Bickel will be joining Music & Youth
Initiative as our Program Manager, effective September 1, 2010. David has been
the Lawrence Music Clubhouse director for the last four years and has done an
excellent job - his clubhouse has become a model for attracting, developing and
motivating young people in Lawrence.
David has also developed many innovative programs which are now used at many
of the Music Clubhouses. Over the last two years, David has worked part time for
Music & Youth and has been the architect for the Music & Youth Method Books;
as well as developed equipment lists, training programs and more.
We are very excited to welcome David as our first full time staff member.
As Program Manager, David will continue his work on curriculum and program development, supporting the Music Clubhouse directors, assisting new clubhouses and working with us to develop and implement strategies for the organization.
