Announcing the Grand Opening of the Roxbury Music Clubhouse!
Boston, MA, December 2010
On December 1, we were very excited and
proud to celebrate the grand opening of the
Roxbury Music Clubhouse. The clubhouse is
hosted and operated by the Boys & Girls
Clubs of Boston at their Yawkey Club location;
in partnership with Music & Youth and the
Berklee College of Music. We welcome the
Roxbury Clubhouse as the 8th member of our
family of Clubhouses.
The Roxbury Music Clubhouse is a 1200
square foot dedicated space and offers
lessons in guitar, bass, keys, drums, vocals
and has a fully equipped recording studio.
There will be many opportunities for young
people to showcase their skills with
performances, open mic nights and projects
to create their own CDs and music videos.
We look forward to working with Jeremy Butler, the Music Clubhouse director, who is a Berklee College graduate. Jeremy previously worked at the West End House Music Clubhouse as a work-study student!
